Last of the 2.0 Series
Firebird 2.0.x is no longer maintained by Firebird Project. However, if you want support for older versions of Firebird to use with your applications, you can contact IBPhoenix directly.
This release contains a large number of new features, including derived tables, support for Execute Block, increased table sizes, new improved index code (the 252-byte index length limit is no longer applicable), expression indices, numerous optimiser improvements, enhanced security features, support for on-line incremental backups along with numerous other improvements and bug fixes.

Linux 32-bit
Important
The obsolete pthreads threading model is no longer supported. If your Linux kernel does not support NPTL threading then you will not be able to use this sub-release.
