A New Chapter for IBPhoenix: Introducing Our Redesigned Website¶

We are thrilled to finally pull back the curtain on the new IBPhoenix digital home. As the Firebird ecosystem evolves, so must the tools and platforms we use to support it. Our new website has been rebuilt from the ground up to be faster, more mobile-friendly, and more focused on the services you need today.

A Focus on Modern Resources¶

You may notice that several legacy articles and older resources are no longer present on the site. We want to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Over the years, the Firebird project has done an incredible job of centralizing documentation and official resources. In an effort to reduce confusion and ensure you are always getting the most accurate information, we have removed content that was outdated, obsolete, or better covered by the official Firebird Project documentation.

However, the "classics" aren't gone forever. We are currently in the process of:

Updating our most popular technical articles to reflect modern Firebird versions (v4.0 and v5.0).
Transitioning these resources into free ebooks, which will be available for download in the near future.
Expanding our library with completely new technical ebooks.
Continuing our deep-dives into database internals and administration through EmberWings quarterly magazine.

Looking Ahead: New Products and Services¶

While the website is the most visible change today, it is only the beginning. Behind the scenes, the IBPhoenix team is hard at work developing several new products and specialized service offerings designed to help you scale and secure your Firebird deployments more efficiently.

We expect to share more details and official release dates for these offerings later this year.
