Note:
Only NPTL threading is supported in this release for both "Superclassic" and SuperServer on x86. Linux versions that do not support the NPTL threading model cannot run Firebird 2.5 Superclassic or Superserver. To test, run the command "getconf GNU_LIBPTHREAD_VERSION". If it doesn't return something like "NPTL 2.n.n" but something like "linuxthreads-0.nn" then either install Classic (for use with [x]inetd) or upgrade your Linux.
